Raspberry jam recipe that is the easiest to make!
Raspberry jam has always been a favorite of mine and, I Know, I am currently obsessed with making jam. Well, really I have always been obsessed! It is just so fun to do and soooo many flavors and combo’s to make. I made this small amount of raspberry jam in preparation for a recipe that I will be making in a couple of days . It could certainly be made in larger amounts and sealed in jars for future use.
Add 2 cups raspberries and 2 cups sugar to small to medium saucepan. I used a little less sugar and it is sweet enough, it depends on how sweet/sour the fruit is.
Add 1/4 cup water and smash everything together with a old fashioned potato masher.
Allow to come to a full rolling boil on high heat.
…and boil for 1 to 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low.
I just know that someone wanted to see the empty pot;-) I really just wanted to say that after simmering at a low boil for maybe 10 minutes you have this really jammy jam. Test readiness by dipping a cold spoon into mixture and if it thickens and doesn’t drip/run off it’s ready to pour into clean and sterilized jars.
