Easy Chocolate Muffins Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour is used for this recipe. For a whole wheat version I would use 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour and 1 cup of all-purpose flour. The texture of the muffins will be slightly different but, very delicious!
  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder is tasty and also contains many healthy nutrients.
  • Baking Soda is essential as a leavening agent in this recipe.
  • Salt is a necessary ingredient for flavor-I like sea salt lately!
  • Granulated Sugar for sweetness. Sweeteners that can be measured cup for cup are good substitutes. The taste and texture of the muffins will be affected slightly by these.
  • Unsalted Butter makes everything better!
  • Whole Milk works best for this recipe.
  • Egg. One large egg is all you need.
  • Vanilla flavoring is added with our heart around here!
  • Bananas are best when very ripe.
  • Dark Chocolate Chips add an extra depth of chocolate.
