<p>If you love the combination of coffee and spicy tea, this dirty iced chai latte will become your new go-to iced coffee drink. It combines a shot of espresso(or two) with spiced tea syrup and creamy milk for the perfect bold and cozy balance. Starbucks coffee shop Chai Latte has been a long time favorite treat. Making it at home is surprisingly simple after I perfected(in my opinion) the chai syrup recipe. I really enjoy being able to craft a cafe’-quality dirty iced chai latte in minutes.</p>

<p>A dirty iced chai latte is essentially a classic iced chai tea latte with the addition of espresso. Traditional chai is made from strong black tea infused with a blend of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and fresh ginger made into a syrup. When you add espresso shots, you create an espresso drink with a extra kick. The “dirty” refers to the coffee addition. If you add two shots of espresso, it is often called a double dirty chai or even a red eye chai. Either way, you get bold chai flavors layered with rich coffee.</p>
