<p>Ginger Pumpkin Spice Smoothie is what’s for breakfast most days around here lately! It’s a welcome change from my normal fruity smoothie with pumpkin, maple syrup, frozen bananas, cinnamon, ginger beer, dates(optional) and almond butter. ð</p>

<p>A smoothie can be made in a matter of minutes with whatever thrown in! But… take time and use ingredients that actually complement each other and end up with a delicious plus healthy breakfast that you will want to make over and over!</p>

I just added a handy link there :) The blender that I used for this photo blends ice really well but it would not completely blend the dates. I didn’t really mind but if you want this super-smooth I would recommend a Vitamix or Blendtec.</p>



<p>Ginger beer may seem like a really odd ingredient for a smoothie but it just really works for this recipe. To eliminate added sugar use almond milk or coconut water instead of the ginger beer!</p>



<p>Today is #nationalchocolateday so add some dark chocolate chips to this recipe ð.</p>
