Buy a salad mix in a bag if you must but….just make the dressing! Bonus snack idea below:)

Orange Poppyseed Dressing snack idea:

Toast 1-2 slices of bread

Peel and mash one whole avocado

Add 3 tablespoons orange poppyseed salad dressing

Salt and pepper to taste.

Mix salad dressing with avocado. Spread onto toast and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Enjoy:)

The awesome Cara Cara navel orange they are sweet and tangy at the same time. And that color!! Plain navel oranges would be perfect for this recipe. I just couldn’t resist using these while they are in season.

Take a moment to admire my authentic 1960’s juicer:) Thanks to my mom and grandma! I juiced 2 oranges to get close to 1/2 cup of juice.

I only used the dijon mustard for this orange poppyseed dressing. Of course, the course ground could be used also or in place of the dijon.
