Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse chicken and pat dry. I used a whole chicken already cut up. Place in baking dish.
When butter is a soft and spreadable consistency mix in all seasonings except garlic bulb. Using the back of a spoon spread butter mixture over all chicken pieces.
Slice top from the garlic bulb and spread butter mix across the top. Place in the baking dish beside chicken.
Cover dish with tin foil. Bake about 1 hour. If using boneless chicken bake for 45-1 hour. Remove foil and broil for just a few minutes to crisp the top of the chicken. Please keep a close eye on the oven while broiling. I leave the oven door open and watch until it is done or I feel it needs to come out. Wouldn't want that butter sauce to go up in flames!
