Ingredients
3cupsflour
1/2cupsugar
1tbspbaking powder
1tspsalt
1/2tspbaking soda
1 1/2cupsbuttermilk
6tbspbutter, melted
1cupshredded cheddar cheese
1pinchgarlic powder
1pinchdried dill, optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add all dry ingredients into a large mixer bowl except garlic powder, and dill.
Whisk until well combined.
Add buttermilk, 4 TBSP melted butter and shredded cheese. Mix just until everything is combined. The dough will be shaggy, similar to biscuit dough.
Spray a loaf pan with baking spray or butter and flour.
Pour the bread dough into the pan and bake for 30-35 mins. Check with toothpick for doneness. Sometimes, depending on the day or the oven it may take a little longer to bake!
When the bread is done remove from the oven and turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
Mix the remaining 2 TBSP butter, dill, and garlic powder and brush the top of bread while it is still warm. Enjoy!
